The Evening Courier and Reporter, Waterloo, Iowa, Monday, July 11, 1921, page 2, Col. 7: Leona G. Jones. Leona Genevieve, age 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Jones, rural route No. 6, La Porte road, died yesterday at 10:20 a.m. in St. Francis hospital of typhoid fever, after several weeks' illness. She was born Nov. 28, 1906. Funeral services will be at O'Keefe & Towne's chapel tomorrow at 8;30 a.m., Rev. W. A. Peterson officiating. The body will be taken to Nashua for interment.
