The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, Georgia, Friday, January 1, 1915, Page 9, Col. 1: Husband's death Is Kept From Mrs. Aycock. Mrs. James Aycock, of 101 Beattie avenue, who is desperately ill with pneumonia, has not yet been informed of the death of her husband, who died early Thursday morning in the adjoining room, as the physicians fear the shock might be fatal to her. The aged couple were stricken with pneumonia on Christmas day. Mr. Aycock is survived by his wife, four sons, W. M., T. W., C. G. and G. C. Aycock, two daughters, Miss Emma Aycock, and Mrs. Sarah Lord, and one brother, W. S. Aycock, and five sisters. No funeral arrangements will be made until a change is noticed in Mrs. Aycock's condition.
