On the 1930 U. S. Census of Octavia, LeFlore Co., Oklahoma, Della Hinds appears with her children Viola age 15, Lena age 14, Lilla age 11, Leon age 8 and Leoma age 8. Della was born in Tennessee, her children were born in Oklahoma.
Obituary from Latimer Today, early January, 2006: Mary Viola Warren Kirkpatrick, 91, of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away January 2, 2006 at the Talihina Manor Nursing Home in Talihina. She was born January 1, 1915, in Ludlow, Oklahoma to Frank Hinds and Idella (Kennedy) Hinds. She was a caregiver in the home health industry and was a member of the Albion First Baptist Church in Albion, Oklahoma. She is survived by a son, Leon and Kitty Warren of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma; two grandsons; James Warren of Eureka, California; John Warren of Eureka, California; two great granddaughters: Ashley Warren and Elsie Warren; great grandson, Will Warren; one brother Jack Hinds of Jacksboro, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; Ed Warren and Rosso [Roscoe] Kirkpatrick. Graveside services were held at the Old Talihina Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma on January 5, 2006 with Reverend Larry Bray officiating. Services were under the direction of the Talihina Funeral Home in Talihina, Oklahoma.
