Mrs. Shepherd was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9458. She was preceded in death by her husband, William. Surviving are a son, Frederick of Monroe, N.C.; two sisters, Mildred Sisco of Bloomingdale and Agnes Sisbury of West Milford; four grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, is in charge of arrangements.
