Greenville Record Argus, Greenville, Pennsylvania, Friday, September 25, 1981, Page 2, Col. 8: Orland Blancher Nicklin, 58, a resident of Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., for several months, died at 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 1981. He formerly lived in Greenville.
Mr. Nicklin was born in Greenville, April 27, 1923, to Lawrence B. and Sarah Elizabeth Morneweck Nicklin. He was retired from service in the U.S. Army and had been employed as a foreman in the maintenance department of the Holly Carburetor Co. in Arkansas. Survivors include two sons, Edward Nicklin of Greenville and Richard Nicklin of Arkansas, and a daughter, Patricia Myers of Greenville. Other survivors are two sisters, Twila Nathans of Long Meadow, Mass., and Vernice Whipple of Greenville, and a brother, Roscoe Nicklin of Greenville. also surviving are five grandchildren. A brother Paul preceded him in death.
