On the 1930 U. S. Census of Pine Valley Town, Muse Township, LeFlore Co., Oklahoma, Andrew J. Harper appears with his wife Ruby K. and daughters Lucilla M., Hazel M. and Mamie D. Andrew works at general labor at a lumber company. Andrew is a veteran of World War I.

On the 1940 U. S. Census of Bluff, Nevada Co., Arkansas, Jack Harper appears with his wife Ruby and daughters Lucile, Hazel, Mamie D., and son Jackie. Also a granddaughter, Nancy, age 1, born in Arkansas. In the 1935 the family was at Stratford, Garvin Co., Oklahoma. Jack is a farmer.

Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Sunday, December 16, 1979, Page 16, Col. 2: Jack Harper, 83, of Camden died Friday. He was a World War I veteran and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Kate Underwood Harper, three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Kelly of Raymond, Miss., and Mrs. Mamie Bussell and Mrs. Jackie Nettles, both of Camden; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Proctor Funeral Home here. Burial will be at bluff City Cemetery (Nevada County).
