The Huntsville Times, Huntsville, Alabama,Tuesday, November 12, 1996: Hazel Green---Lewis Lang Aycock, 80, of Hazel Green, died today at a local hospital. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Walter Nunn officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mr. Aycock was a charter member of the Lakewood Baptist Church and a retired from the Civil Service. Survivors include his wife, Alice T. Aycock; a daughter, Betty Travis of Huntsville; four sons, Billy Aycock of New Market, David Aycock of Huntsville, Mark Aycock of Selina, Kan., and Phillip Aycock of Fortuna, Calif.; a sister, Annie Mae McDavid of Starkville, Miss.; three brothers, Ray Aycock of Tupelo, Miss., Ellis Aycock of Columbus, Miss., and Taylor Aycock of Andalusia; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
