He was a retired farmer and native of Johnson County. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Robbie Harris Patterson; a son, Bill Patterson of Clarksville; a daughter, Mrs. Jewell Pratt of Clarksville; two brothers, George Patterson of Clarksville and Andrew Patterson of Pearlblossom, Cal., nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hardwicke Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
