Daily Report, Ontario, California, February 18, 1926, Page 1, Col. 7: Pioneer Ontario Woman Dead, Mrs. Anna Jane Kirkpatrick, Here for 33 Years and Well Known, Succumbs. Mrs. Anna Jane Kirkpatrick, wife of J. D. Kirkpatrick, a resident of Ontario for 33 years, and well-known socially, died at her home, 428 East F street, early this morning at the age of 64 years, six months, and six days. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Sons of Veterans, a charter member of the Olive Circle, Neighbors of Woodcraft, and a member of the Women's Relief corps and the Pioneer society of Ontario. An active worker in the Methodist church ever since coming to Ontario, she was superintendent of the home department of the Sunday school for many years. She is survived by her husband and three children, (Nellie) Mrs. J. H. Sanborn of Mentone, Cal.; Julius Kirkpatrick of Ontario, and (Florence) Mrs. Ralph W. Nicholson of Portland, Ore., nine grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Hallowell of Ontario, and Mrs. J. H. Morgan, of Brighton, IA., and one brother, D. W. Orr of Ontario. Services On Monday. Mrs. Nicholson wired from Portland this morning that she would arrive in Ontario Sunday in time for the funeral services. services will be held 10 o'clock Monday morning at Draper's chapel, with Dr. Charles F. Seitter, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. C. V. Cowan of Pasadena, a former pastor [maybe former pastor of this church?]. Interment will be made in Bellevue cemetery.

Note: Jacob Dean Kirkpatrick is a second great uncle to John Patrick Kirkpatrick, and Dr. Charles F. Seitter, is a second cousin, 2 times removed to John's wife, Carol Jeanne Kirkpatrick.
