Ottumwa Courier, Ottumwa, Iowa, Thursday, January 16, 1992, Page 4, Col. 1: Fairfield---Blanche Irene Ramsey, 77, of Fairfield died at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 13, 1992, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. She was born June 19, 1915, in Fairfield to Frank and Julia M. Trail Ramsey. She lived most of her life in Fairfield and was a secretary for Zillman Motor Co. and Zillman Construction until retiring. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Soroptomist Club.

She is survived by a sister, Mildred Yeast of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents. The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Parkview Care Center.
