Wallace Press Times, Monday, February 19, 1945: Big Creek Woman Dies This Morning. Mrs. Minnie Dore, 68, Big Creek resident the past four years, died about 12:30 this morning in a local hospital. She was admitted to the hospital Saturday night suffering from pneumonia and complications. She came here from Sidney, Mont., to live with her daughter, Mrs. Hans Christopherson, Big Creek. Other survivors are two sons, George in the Aleutians, and Richard, Portland. The body is at Worstell's.
Wallace Press Times, Wednesday February 21, 1945: Body to Montana. The body of Mrs. Minnie Dore, 69, Big Creek, who died here Monday will be shipped tomorrow by the Worstell Funeral Home to Sidney, Mont., Mrs. Dore's former home. Services will be held there from the Methodist church Sunday.
