Aycock - Madden
The marriage of Dr. Aycock of Williamson to Miss Sarah E. Madden of Concord on the evening of the 2nd inst., was one of the events of the season. The ceremony was performed at the Baptist Church by Rev. Culpepper in a most beautiful and impressive manner. Both bride and groom are well known to our people, of whom they are much admired. Dr. Aycock is of true steel and is rapidly making an enviable reputation in the practice of medicine. His bride is possessed of many charms and we can reasonably expect that they will find great pleasure in the sacred relationship they have assumed, a relationship that begins at the alter surrounded by gaiety and festooned with flowers, and ends at the grave darkened by sorrow and bathed in tears.
