(25 Mar 1921 - 3 Apr 2010)

Posted at findagrave.com: Inez Myrul Worley Clason, 89, died April 3, 2010. She was born on March 25, 1921, in Palermo, California, to William Valentine and Mabel (Fishel) Worley.

Her mother died when she was five years old and she was sent to Mooreland, Oklahoma, to live with an aunt and uncle, Jim and Lucy Worley. Her childhood years were spent in the Woodward, Oklahoma and Topeka, Kansas areas, and she graduated from high school in Quinlan, Oklahoma, in 1940.

During World War II, she worked at Boeing in Wichita, Kansas, as an aircraft electrician. There she met and married her husband, H.E. "Steve" Clason, on July 6, 1944. [married Woodard, Oklahoma].

Subsequent jobs took them to Denver, Colorado, and Medford, Oregon, where she worked as a fruit packer for Harry & David, while her husband was hospitalized with tuberculosis. In 1956 they moved to Seattle, and two years later established a home in Bothell, Washington. They settled into raising their daughters and serving the Lord in their local church, Bothell Free Methodist (now Living Hope Christian Fellowship).

Following a major stroke in 2000, Inez moved to Alterra Sterling House in Bethany and then to Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, and attended Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and the Lifelifters Sunday School class.

She operated a licensed home daycare center, was an avid seamstress, gardener, and an excellent cook. She took special joy in her flowers, canning, and creating beautiful hand-sewn quilts. She taught quilting classes and was always available to help a friend plan, piece or quilt a project. She made beautiful handmade clothing, toys and quilts for her daughters and grandchildren. She was active in youth, women's and senior-adult ministries in her church.

She loved to travel to new places. When her daughters were grown, she began a new career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, working for 12 years at the L.C. Foss Sunset Home in Seattle.
