Atlanta, July 15, (AP)---George Hamilton Broadnax, who headed the late Franklin Roosevelt's bodyguard during the 1933 assignation attempt at Miami, died yesterday at the age of 72. Broadnax formerly was in charge of the U. S. Secret Service in Florida and Georgia, more recently he directed the service in Georgia alone. He retired two years ago. He was a native of Walton county, Georgia, and a former Fulton county deputy sheriff.
