Amber Frisbie

Chanute Tribune, Chanute, Kansas, October 29, 1956, Page 5, Col. 3: Mrs. Amber Jobe, 61, died this morning at Neosha Memorial Hospital, where she had been for treatment for several weeks. Amber Frisbie, daughter of Sidney and Martha Elizabeth Frisbie, was born Dec. 14, 1894, at Chanute, where she had spent most of her life. She was married in Chanute to Louis Kemmerling in 1915. He died in Dec. 1932. Oct. 3, 1936, she was married to Willard B. Jobe. She attended the South Highland United Brethren church. Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Roy Cowan and Mrs. Frankie Morrison, Chanute, Mrs. Carl Winn, Yates Center, Allen Kemmerling, Grand Junction, Colo., Lea Kemmerling, Chanute and Willard B. Jobe Jr., with the Navy in California. One son, Edward Kemmerling, died Oct. 18, 1948. One sister, Mrs. Louis Williamson, Chanute, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Gibson Funeral Home, are incomplete.
