She was born in Bond, Ky., a daughter of Thomas and Florence Garland Jody, and received her education in the public schools of Anville [Annville], Ky. She married Dallas Parrett in 1940 in Norwood.
She leaves the husband; three sons, Ben Parrett, Lebanon, Denny Parrett, Hamilton and Jimmy Parrett, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Hicks, Chicago, and Becky Parrett, at home; four grandchildren; three brothers, Ben and Bert Jody, both of Dayton, and Joe Jody, Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Moore, McKee, Ky., Mrs. Nancy Palmer, Dayton, and Mrs. Vivian Mullinex, San Diego, Calif.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Webb Funeral Home, Ross Ave. and S. D St. Burial will be in Venice Cemetery, Ross. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
