Posted at findagrave.com: Winnifred Marr Wyckoff Kirkpatrick, 91, of S. Hillcrest St. Greenville, died suddenly Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. She was born Nov. 15, 1910, in Greenville, the daughter of Jess E. and Marian H. Gray Wyckoff. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1928 and attended Davenport College. She worked at Gibson Refrigerator Co. prior to going to Washington, D.C., on a government assignment during WWII. She married Lee W. Kirkpatrick on March 10, 1945, at Fort Myer, Va. They then moved to Spencer, Ind., and lived there until the death of her husband on Nov. 24, 1954. She moved back to Greenville with her son, Barry Lee Kirkpatrick, in 1955, and returned to work for Gibson Refrigerator Co. retiring in 1977. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Bethany and Puritan Circles and was a American Red Cross volunteer with Montcalm County Health Department. She served at United Memorial Hospital as a Gray Lady and in the gift shop. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Jan Kirkpatrick of Leadville, Colo., her grandchildren, Jeremy, Scott and Lindsey Kirkpatrick, her nephews and nieces-in-law, Steve and Dawn Wyckoff of Greenville, Ted and Julie Wyckoff of Battle Creek, her nieces, Sharon Reel of Indiana, Susan Smith of North Carolina, and her sister-in-law, Wanda Kirkpatrick of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken [?], and her brother, Earl Wyckoff. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Jerrold T. Jones officiating. Burial is in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
