Hutson, 46, a former resident of Sesser. Mr. Hutson, a U S. Navy Commander, died at 3:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, at the U. S. Naval Hospital in California. He had been suffering from a heart condition for the past ten months.

Mr. Hutson was born in Sesser, December 10, 1908, the son of Stanton and Ellen Hutson, who survive. He was graduated from Missouri University School of Dentistry in St. Louis, Mo., and was a practicing dentist in St. Louis for 18 years before surviving five years with the U. S. Navy in World War II. After his release from service he moved his family to Sesser,where he practiced dentistry for two years. He was called back to active duty with the U. S. Navy April 29, 1949.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Mattoon and Miss Dottie Ann Hutson, all of Oakland, Calif.; and a brother, Lt. Col. S. C. Hutson of Governor's Island, New York.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Horse Prairie Baptist church near Sesser. The Rev. John Maulding of McLeansboro and the Rev. Hugh Moore of Sesser will officiate and burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery at Sesser. The body will arrive in Sesser Wednesday.
