Muriel Louise (Angle) Hutson, 86 of Sesser died November 23, 2004, in Springfield, Illinois while visiting her daughter for the holiday.
Posted at findagrave.com: Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Sesser at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home after 6 pm Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Sesser and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Muriel was born to Trilby Jane and Elza Angle on March 24, 1918, in Sesser. She was a life long resident of the small town. She married William Herbert Hutson on December 31, 1939. Herbert preceded her in death. They had four children.
Muriel was known for her uncanny wit and wisdom, and brought a smile to many faces. She was known for her sense of humor. She was the type of person who could tell the truth to anyone, and make them laugh about it. She was a housewife, mother, and a Christian. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Sesser.
She is survived by her four children, Herbert and Connie Hutson of Sesser, Ronald and Deena Hutson of Tamaroa, Patricia Elliott-Tait and Ed Tait of Benton, Janice and Paul Elders of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Shari and Jon Jones of Sesser, Michelle and Dave McPhedran of LaSalle, Deborah Hutson of Kankakee, Bradley and Deb Hutson of Sesser, Marcus Elliott of West Palm Beach, Fla., Jared Elliott of Evansville, Ind., Brittany Elders of Springfield and Paul William Elders of Springfield; four great-grandchildren, Jenna Jones of Sesser, Makayla and David McPhedran of LaSalle; and a bundle of joy to arrive in January 2005. She is also survived by several loving nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Trilby Jane and Elza Angle, stepfather Marshall Bradley, stepbrother Wayne Bradley, and son in law Michael Keith Elliott.
