Centralia Evening Sentinel, Wednesday, July 6, 1921, Page 3, Col. 1: Nearby News of Town & the Country---Sesser---Charlie Kirkpatrick of Duquoin received injuries Thursday while working at the mine which caused his death a few hours later. He was the grandson of F. M. Kirkpatrick of this place. Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church of Duquoin Friday afternoon. A large number attended from this place.
