Amarillo Sunday News Globe, Amarillo, Texas, Sunday, May 29, 1960, Page 3, Col. 4: Homer Valentine Harbert, 56, who lived at 1201 W. 19th, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at Northwest Texas Hospital. Mr. Harbert was born Sept. 10, 1903, in Arkansas, and had lived in Amarillo for about 10 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Harbert, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Schoonover of Baldwin, N. Y.; a sister, Mrs. Elmer Cassetty of Beaumont,; and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Nelson Funeral Home of Berryville, Ark. Blackburn-Shaw was in charge of arrangements in Amarillo.
