The Wichita Eagle, Wichita, Kansas, Sunday, July 19, 2015: Stuber, Faith (Gordon), of the Scottish, Gordon Highlander Clan, died July 13, 2015. She married the love of her life, Ivan Stuber, at 20. They met at a high school roller skating party, where she won him away from another girl. They joked about that often. She traveled alone by train from Washington State to Florida to marry him before he went off to WWII. To say she was a strong-minded woman is an understatement. They had 3 sons, settled in Wichita, and spent 70 happy years together weathering every storm and bringing goodness and happiness to everyone they touched. She was a great wife, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. We will all miss her.
