Orville Lester Weller

Burlington Hawk Eye Gazette, Burlington, Iowa, Monday, February 23, 1953, Page 28, Cols. 2 & 3: Douds---Orville Weller, 58, 21 at Anamosa, where he had been living since Feb. 1. a long-time resident of Van Buren county, Weller was married to Lillian Lee on June 2, 1917. She died Sept. 15, 1945. Recently he was married to Alice D. Armson of Burlington. Besides the widow, Weller is survived by five sons and two daughters: Robert Waller, Fremont Ohio; Wilbur and Joseph Weller and Mrs. Wilma Moffett, all of Ottumwa; William Weller, Fairfield, and Darrell Weller and Mrs. Dorothy Herman, both of Douds.

Also surviving are three brothers and a sister: James Weller, Birmingham; Fred Weller, Mount Sterling; Edgar Weller, Decatur, Ill.; and Virgie Weller, of Jacksonville, Ill. Last rites will be held Wednesday afternoon. There will be a service at the Pedrick funeral home, at Douds, at one o'clock, after which there will be a service at the Acasto church, near Mount Sterling, at 2:30. The Rev. Raymondo Murdock of Cantril, will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Sterling.
