New London, Ia., June 9---Mrs. Linnie Bell Denny Lee, lifelong resident of Henry county, passed away at 2:45 o'clock Thursday morning at the Henry county hospital in Mt. Pleasant following a long illness.
Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hattie Denny and was born in Henry county, March 14, 1877. On February 12, 1896, she was united in marriage with E. V. Lee. To this union were born four children, who with the husband survive, namely, Mrs. Goldie Guse, Owatonna, Minn.; Orville, Farmington; Mrs. Gladys Weller and Ivan, both of Mount Sterling. Also surviving are four brothers, E. E. Denny, New London, Earl of Los Angeles, Calif.; Fred of Sawtell, Calif., and James of Milwaukee.
She was a member of the Methodist church. The remains were taken to the Elliott Funeral Home pending services at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial in Burge cemetery.
