Cedar Rapids Gazette, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Friday, May 8, 1987, page 16, Col. 3: William R. "Bill' Reisner, 66, died Wednesday in University Hospitals, Iowa City, after a brief illness. He was a retired truck driver and construction worker.
Surviving are six sons, Richard of Visalia, Calif., Jim, Skip, Bobby, Junior and Larry, all of Oelwein; four daughters, Barb Shaffer of Cocato, Minn., Sandy Stanek, Debbie Reisner, and Mary Reisner, all of Oelwein; two sisters, Dorthea Marker, of Niles, Mich., and Clare Gluck of Canterbury, Conn.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services 10 a.m. Saturday at Brant-Kerns-Jamison's where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Burial: Wilson Cemetery, Independence, with military graveside services.
