Parkinson, 93, 550 Victoria Drive, who died Monday in a Boise nursing home, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Alden-Waggoner Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Donald Baird, Trinity Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. He was born April 27, 1884, in South Dakota, and in 1902 moved to the Deer Flat area to homestead. He farmed in his early years and later worked as a truck driver for the Carnation Co. of Nampa for 25 years prior to his retirement.

He married Carrie M. Johnson, July 2, 1952, in Winnemucca, Nev. He attended Trinity Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Boise; a son, Gilbert N., Sumner, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Copeland, Mesa, Ariz.; two step daughters, Lois Matthews, Boise, and Mrs. Walter (Phyllis) Ogle, Pocatello; a brother, Lee G., Portland, 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
