El Dorado News-Times, El Dorado, Arkansas, Sunday, November 14, 2004, Page 2: Mildred Aycock, 84, of Lake Village, and formerly of El Dorado, died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born on June 9, 1920, in Wilson, Okla., she was the daughter of S.A. and Annie Newton Allen. She was retired from Warner Brown Hospital, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 280, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, MCSA Auxiliary and Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Hunter Aycock Sr., and a brother, Dewey Allen. Survivors include a son and his wife, Thomas H. Aycock Jr. and Mary Catherine of Lake Village; grandchildren Andrea Bowman and husband, Douglas, of Nesbit, Miss., Stuart Aycock and wife, Danielle, of Hernando, Miss., Andrew Aycock and wife, Christa, of Lake Village and Mary Anne Aycock of Lake Village; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Bowman of Nesbit. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Young's Chapel with Kay Ruddell officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors in El Dorado. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, 3100 Samford, Shreveport, LA 71103.
