Ada Evening News, Ada, Oklahoma, Sunday, April 13, 1969, Page 2, Col. 6: Hubert E. Bale, 70, Ada geologist and engineer, died suddenly at his home at 1427 E. Northcrest Drive Saturday afternoon after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Bale was engaged in the oil business in the Allen area. He had been a resident of Ada for approximately 10 years. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and had headed the church's finance campaign. He also was an active member of the Kiwanis Club, serving as chairman of the international relation committee and on the board of directors. Mr. Bale is survived by his wife, Neva Lou, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Lou Jean Holzhauer, Dallas, Mrs. Barbara DeJong, Pretoria, South Africa, and Mrs. Charlotte McGraw; a son Lee, Dallas and 13 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Criswell Funeral Home.
