Amarillo Globe Times, Amarillo, Texas, Friday, June 7, 1968, Page 11, Col. 1: Funeral services for James Blair Alexander, 73, of 4307 Emil, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Griggs Pioneer Chapel with the Rev. J. B. Sharp, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Alexander, a retired secretary-treasurer of G. R. Leonard Co., died Thursday afternoon in his home. He was a native of cutler, Ill., and came to Amarillo about eight years ago. He had lived in Cleveland, Ohio, for 25 years. Mr. Alexander was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Larry Garre of 5303 Everett; two sisters, Miss Ruth Alexander of Murphysboro, Ill., and Mrs. Walter Bauersach of Pinckneyville, Ill., and two grandchildren.
