Posted at findagrave.com: Mulkeytown---Billie Marcille Parrent Rentfro, 84, died Monday, May 23, 2011, in Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was a supervisor at several area garments factory, with 20 years at Joan Clair in Benton. She was born May 30, 1926, in Murphysboro to Howard and Clara Chambers Glotfelty. She was married first to Vernon Parrent on March 11, 1947, and he preceded her in death Jan.28, 1997. She then married Robert Rentfro on Dec.28, 2002, and he survives of Mulkeytown. She attended First Christian Church in Christopher. She was a member of Red Hats Women Club of Christopher, Jolly Jill's and Jacks. Survivors include children, Patty and Wade Miller of Chester; seven stepchildren; grandchildren, Cassidy Miller; grandchildren, Cassidy Miller of Chester, Cortney Miller Evans and husband, Eric Evans Dowell; 12 stepgrandchildren; and brother-in-law, Clifford Parrent of Christopher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Parrent; and brother, Cyril "Corkey" Glotfelty. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, in First Christian Church in Christopher, with the Rev. Kevin Bonifacius. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery in Buckner. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 29, at the funeral home. Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher is in charge of arrangements.
