Chester, April 19 (Special)---Mrs. Lottie McWaters Kee, 80, of Rodman section of Chester County, widow of John Lyle Kee, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Maloney of Rock Hill. Mrs. Kee was a daughter of the late Nancy Waters and James McWaters and was a native of the Rodman section. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist church and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mr. and Mrs. Kee celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Jan. 1, 1949. He husband died about a year ago. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Wade H. Gladden of Lancaster, Mrs. Gaither Kirkpatrick of Fort Mill, Mrs. Davis Kirkpatrick of Rozell, N. J., Mrs. Estelle K. Atkinson of Santiago [San Diego?] Calif., Mrs. E. B. Mendenhall of Chester and Mrs. Walter Maloney of Rock Hill; one son, J. J. Kee of Chester; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. P. A. Grant and Mrs. Maude Hollis, both of Chester, and one brother, Frank McWaters of Charleston. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday from Pleasant Grove Methodist Church by the Rev. R. E. Seignious, assisted by the Rev. Raymond L. Holroyd. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The body will be at Barron's Funeral home here until one hour before the service when it will be taken to the church.
