She was born February 9, 1926, in Caledonia to the late Earl and Lottie Savage Groves. A 1942 graduate of Caledonia High School, she also graduated from Draughon's Business School in Memphis. In addition Mrs. Egger was first married to Maj. Branwood J. Wilding, who died shortly before the birth of their daughter. She is survived by a son, three daughters, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; many loving and caring nieces and nephews; as well as life-long friends and neighbors. Funeral services were Saturday, March 15, in the Chapel of Lowndes Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Cobb and Andy Vaughn officiating. Interment followed in Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, Mississippi.
