On the 1930 Census of Nemaha, Johnson Co., Nebraska, Myrtle appears with her husband Frank McPherson, children and mother. Frank was also raised by John and Grace Mabie. Myrtle states her mother was born in Ohio. Her mother, Grace Kirkpatrick Briner, states she was born in Iowa. Also Myrtle and her sister Iona are born 2 months apart in two different states. On the 1930 census there is a young man with Virgil P. Robbins listed directly below the McPhersons.
