Fritsch, 88, of Speaks, died at 7 p.m. Thursday in an Edna rest home. Mr. Fritsch was born Aug. 3, 1884, in Fayette County. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at noon Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Stanley Petru officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the church. The body will lie in state until 11 a.m. at Kubena Funeral Home Chapel.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Clark Fritsch and a step-son, Hayes Nolen, both of Speaks; four sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Michalke and Mrs. Elenora Cheney of Hallettsville, Mrs. Mary Schwartz of Schulenburg and Mrs. Annie Teltschick of Port Arthur; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.
