She was born June 29, 1928, in Oelwein, daughter of David and Fern Schrack Baillie. She married Howard Wilton Loux on Feb. 11, 1948, in Decorah; he died Jan. 31, 1993. Donna graduated from Oelwein High School in 1946. She was a homemaker and retired from Insurance Headquarters, Oelwein, where she had worked for 25 years. She had previously attended Christ United Presbyterian Church. Survived by: a daughter, Sandra Whittenbaugh of Oelwein; two grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her parents; and a son-in-law, Bill Whittenbaugh. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with burial in Foral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.
