Burkburnett (Special)---Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church for R. C. "Bob" Tevis, 78, who died Monday at his home here. Burial will be in the Burkburnett Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Born Aug. 21, 1895, in Fort Worth, Tevis was retired manager of C. D. Shamberger Lumber Co. in Burkburnett. The family asks that memorials be made to the Heart Fund. A resident of Burkburnett for 50 years, Tevis was a member of the First Christian Church, Rotary Club, American Legion and a veteran of World War I. He was a past director of North Texas Savings and Loan for 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Talia Ferro, and Miss Laura Louise Tevis, both of Burkburnett, and two sisters, Mrs. H. L. Ziegler and Mrs. Joe Keevil, both of Longview, Tex.
