Belle Pambrun

The Spokesman-Review, Spokane, Washington, Wednesday, June 25, 1997: Memorial service for Belle Bare Wiemer, 94, was Saturday at the Eugene Good Samaritan Center. Mrs. Wiemer, who was born in Athena, Ore., died last Wednesday. She attended Whitman College and Cheney Normal School and later taught school in Oregon and Washington. In 1924 she married Russell Bare in Spokane and they made their home in the Mount Hope and Fairfield area, where they farmed. Her husband died in 1958. In 1962 she married Earl Wiemer in Coeur d'Alene, and they moved to Tekoa, Wash., and Rocky Point on Lake Chatcolet in Idaho. Her husband died in 1968, and she later moved to Springfield, Ore. Mrs. Wiemer is survived by five daughters, Frances Gerling of Waverly, Betty Thomas of Post Falls, Margery Kohn of Tacoma, Joan Adams of Ventura, Wash., and Janet Wolfe of Springfield, Ore.; a brother, George Pambrun of Junction City, Ore.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
