Byble, 70 well-known wholesale grocer in southeastern and central Kentucky, died here Monday after suffering a heart attack. Byble was a partner and manager of the London Grocery Company for 30 years, before his semi-retirement five years ago. He was a past president of the Kentucky Wholesale Grocery Association, and past director of the National Wholesale Grocers' Association. Byble was also a past member of the London School Board, London Utility Commission, McKee Lodge No. 144 F. & A.M. and the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Engle Byble; a son, Earl Frederick Byble; two sisters and two brothers. Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, London. Burial will follow in A. R. Dyche Memorial Park, London. Visitation 4 to 9 p.m. today at Rawlings Funeral Home, London.
