Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Friday, February 3, 1989, Page 16: Idus Abner Curtis, 77, of Little Rock, a retired parts manager for Twin City American Motors, died Wednesday. He was a volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation, a Boy Scout leader for 25 years, and a member and former administrative board member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mary Edwards Curtis; three sons, Keith Curtis of Framingham, Mass., Phillip Curtis of Claymont, Del, and John Curtis of Little Rock; three sisters, Elva Blackford of Bauxite and Ruby Matlock and Dora Brown of Clarksville; and a grandchild. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth by Rev. Kurt Boggan. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Harmony Cemetery in Clarksville. Memorials may be made to Highland Valley United Methodist Church.
