Earline Kay Pitt, daughter of Earl and the late Alline (Mayes) Willcut was born September 25, 1955, in Butler County, MO., and departed this life on September 13, 2016. She had attained the age of sixty years, eleven months and nineteen days. Earline had resided in Van Buren for the last twelve years and was formerly of Poplar Bluff. She was the Director of Nursing for Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff for nineteen years. She was a hard worker, very compassionate, loved taking care of people and loved her job. Earline was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the First Assembly of God. She enjoyed taking vacations with her husband, going on ATV rides, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. On February 12, 1997, she was united in marriage to Jim Pitt in Poplar Bluff, MO., who survives of the home. Survivors include two sons, Josh Morris of Van Buren, MO., and William Morris of Van Buren, MO., two step daughters, Brook Hart and husband Marc of Cross Timbers, MO., and Jimmie Joe Pitt of Buffalo, MO., one step son, Robert Pitt of Wichita, KS., one brother, Vurlin Willcut and wife Debbie of Poplar Bluff, MO., two sisters, Vickie Gunner and husband Jerry of Ellsinore, MO., and Sally Carr of Colorado Springs, CO., ten grandchildren, Kelsey Richardson, Tanner Smith, Nicole Smith, Jocelynn Morris, Jacob Kemp, Kaleb Pitt, Kyndall Pitt, Allexis Pitt, Morgan Hart, and Benjamin Hart, one great grandchild on the way, and many relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Earline was preceded in death by her mother and her biological father Kenneth Crow. Visitation will begin for the public at 10:30 a.m., Friday September 16, 2016, at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren, with the funeral services following at 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel.
