She is survived by 3 daughters, Kay (James) Putney of Milwaukee, Paddy (David) Kutz of Newark, OH and Susan Struck of Phoenix, AZ, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, Clara Ferch of Dousman; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. She was born March 2, 1914 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Helmuth and Sophie Mertens Meyer. On Sept. 19, 1936 she married Kenneth L. Kirkpatrick. They made their home in Milwaukee until moving to Markesan in 1960. he preceded her in death on April 12, 1976. There will be no visitation or funeral services for Mrs. Kirkpatrick. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the charity of your choice. Butzin-Merchant Funeral Home is assisting the family.
