Edward C. Preissler

St. Louis Post-Dispatch, St. Louis, Missouri, Friday, September 2, 1994: Edward Preissler; Owned Dental Laboratory. Edward C. Preissler, the longtime owner of a dental laboratory in St. Louis, died Wednesday (Aug. 31, 1994) of heart disease at St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood. He was 83 and lived in Webster Groves. Since 1945, Mr. Preissler owned the Preissler Dental Laboratory on Grandel Square. He was a dental technician here for 65 years. He was a past president of the Missouri State Dental Laboratory Association and of the St. Louis Dental Laboratory Guild. He also served in various offices and on the boards of numerous professional organizations. Mr. Preissler was born in Paris. He came to this country in 1932 with his family. A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Gerber Chapel, 23 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Gerber Chapel. Burial will be private. Among the survivors are his wife, Velma Preissler; a son, Charles Preissler of Webster Groves; and two grandchildren.
