She was born February 28, 1924 in Hamilton, the daughter of Fred and Fairy (Hayes) Poindexter. She was a 1942 graduate of Ross High School. She married Rudolph Retherford in Hamilton on October 25, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She had a passion for showing horses and trail riding. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Richard Retherford and wife, Vicki of Florence, Kentucky and Mark Retherford and wife, Sharon of Ross, Ohio; two grandchildren, Cyrus Retherford and Travis Ondrovich and wife, Jeanna and many other loving family members. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Dr. Dennis Metzger officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
