Gila, Hobbs, N.M. who died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1982 as a result of an automobile accident were scheduled from the Taylor Memorial Baptist Church Saturday, Dec. 11, 1982 with interment following in the Prairie Haven Cemetery. Mrs. Woodson was born in Cloverbottom, Ken., June 9, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hays. She moved to Hobbs from Ohio in 1952, was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years. She was a secretary for the Cabot Corporation. Mrs. Woodson is survived by her husband, F. M. Woodson of the family home, one son, Steve Woodson of Hobbs; two daughters, Mrs. Andres Barber of Hobbs and Mrs. Darla J. Newland of Glenvine, Montana; three brothers, Henry Hays of Mason, Ohio, Simon Hays of Bighill, Kentucky and Bill Hays of McKee, Kentucky and two grandchildren, Cassie Newland and Adrianne Barber. Complete arrangements were under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
