San Antonio Express-News, San Antonio, Texas, Tuesday, October 23, 2007, State & Metro Edition, Page 04 B: Ralph George Bodemann, born December 1, 1923, died peacefully at his home in the midst of his family in Aransas Pass on October 22, 2007. Ralph loved his family, his dog Buddy, fishing, gardening, and the San Antonio Spurs. He served in the paratroopers during World War II and worked as a government auditor until his retirement in 1955. Ralph loved to tell stories and had some very amusing stories published by the Texas Historical Association. Ralph is survived by his wife Elaine Dreyer Bodemann, daughter Lisa Bodemann, son Steve Bodemann, his dog Buddy, sister Helen Scrutchin, brother Leroy Bodemann and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nell Bodemann and son Gary Bodemann. Visitation for family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., October 24 through October 26, 2007 and from Noon until service time at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.
