Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Monday, January 7, 1963, Front Page, Col. 7: Auto Accident On Highway 60 West Is Fatal. Injuries suffered in a highway accident on new highway 60, west, some 30 days ago, resulted in the death yesterday of Frank Talcott, aged 67, at Doctors Hospital. His, wife, Frances Todd Talcott, remains in a critical condition at the hospital of injuries suffered in the accident. Talcott was born at Vandalia, Ill., Aug. 11, 1895 and was a steel worker. He was married on July 4, 1924 and was a member of the Assembly of God church in Ellsinore for 35 years. He leaves the widow, a foster daughter, Betty Meyer of rural route, Van Buren and a brother, Fred Talcott of Springfield, Ill. Funeral services will be at the Assembly of God Church on Lester Street Tuesday afternoon at 3 and burial will be in Woodlawn [part of Poplar Bluff City cemetery]. Frank-Cotrell service.
