Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Friday, May 27, 1977, Page 15, Col. 2: Mrs. Edith Todd Berry, a 79-year-old resident of 1023 Hickory St., died Thursday in the Poplar Bluff Hospital. She had been ill two years. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gail Copple will officiate with burial in City Cemetery. Visitation begin at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Born Nov. 1, 1897, Mrs. Berry was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Her first husband, Walter J. Todd, died in 1968. In March 1971, she was married to Carrol Berry. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Arthur R. Todd, Poplar Bluff; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jean Bartold, St. Charles, and Mrs. Wandra Tradeau, Belleville, Ill.; one stepson Melvin Berry, Granite City, Ill.; a brother, Robert Lewis, St. Louis; five sisters, Mrs. Lurie Kindred, St. Louis and Mrs. Elsie Hill, Mrs. Alice Richardson, Mr. Ruby Birdsong and Mrs. Florence Sudemeir, all of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
