Friends may call to the funeral home after 6 pm on Sunday. He was born Nov 7, 1906 in Benton the son of Willy and Ida Davis Connor and he married Lilly Browning and she preceded him in death. He was a farmer and coal miner. A member of the Church of Christ in Benton and the UMWA. Servivors are a daughter, Lee (Keith) Ward of Sesser, three grandchildren, Byron Ward of Buckner, Scott Ward of Chula Visita, California and Brandi Ward of Ft Lauderdale, Fl and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Abbie Leigh Ward.
