Benton Evening News, Benton, Illinois, Friday, March 12, 2010: Odelia "Peggy" Kirkpatrick, 93, of Quincy died March 9, 2010 at 6:35 p.m. at the Illinois Home for Veterans at Quincy. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at the Horse Prairie Baptist Church in Sesser with Brother Bob Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Horse Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church. Johnston Funeral Home in Ina is in charge of the arrangements. She was born Oct. 22, 1916, in Breese to Alvin and Mary (Jansen) Hagen. She married Charles Kirkpatrick. She has one son, Alvin Kirkpatrick and wife, Phyllis, of Reddick; one daughter, Reba McClintock and husband, Bill, of Roxanna; eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Hagen; and one sister, Jean Flowers. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Christopher. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one son, Lonnie Wayne Kirkpatrick.
