(Preston) Presten, 78, former co-owner of a pharmacy here, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home---North, W5100 Wellesley. Mrs. Presten died Thursday at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. Although Presten was the legal spelling of the family name, Mrs. Presten and her husband frequently used the spelling as Preston. Born in Minnesota, she came to Spokane in 1946. She was co-owner for 25 years with her husband of Lincoln Heights Pharmacy, where she was in charge of the retail section and was gift buyer and her husband was the pharmacist. They retired in 1979. She had been a member of Pinecrest Garden Club since 1946 and was a past treasurer of the club. She also was a member of the Sons of Norway and South Hill Senior Center. Mrs. Presten and her husband would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in October. Survivors include her husband, Mark E.; two sons, Earle S. Presten of St. Helena, Calif., and James E. Presten of Redmond, Wash.; and four grandchildren. the family suggests memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
